Vital Germaine is a Belgian National with a British accent, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, who got to live the American dream by way of a French Canadian circus.

His journey began under very testing circumstances. Vital grew up in the English foster care system between the ages of 8 and 16. Statistics predicted that he'd be dead or in jail by the age of 18 due to gang related violence, drug over-dose or suicide. His resilient and determined spirit defied the odds.

In 1991, Vital came to the US with nothing more than a dream in his pocket. Hard work, dedication, belief and a positive attitude allowed him to overcome the obstacles and struggles of the starving artist in Manhattan to live his American dream. For more in his heralding journey that is a testament to the power of the human spirit, read his top-selling book FLYING WITHOUT A NET. It has been called a "life-changer, a must read and best read of the year." You'll feel inspired and compelled to read the sequel, FLYING WITHOUT A NET 2.0

The book is a memoir that also invites the reader to become a member of Cirque du Soleil as he takes you backstage to experience the magic of life in this globally recognized modern-day circus.

Before becoming a reputable empowerment strategist, Vital performed for over 5 years in Cirque du Soleil's Mystère and the US tour of Quidam. He acted as a team captain in Mystère

Following a tragic injury in 1998 that ended his acrobatic career, Vital's entrepreneurial spirit came to light. He started an entertainment company  that produced large-scale theatrical and corporate events around the world. After 8 years he lost his passion and sense of purpose. He spent six introspective months listening to the silence to discover his new and truest "WHY."

Vital values and implements the many leadership, culture and team dynamics lessons he learned during his time in the global icon of entertainment and excellent Customer Experiences. He recently acted as a consultant and facilitator to Cirque's employee development program, SPARK SESSIONS.

It became clear when retracing his journey from childhood, through adolescence and adulthood, that there was as very common theme. Vital had always found joy in inspiring and empowering others to live up to their potential. In every capacity, be it at school, the soccer team , work, scholarships and even at Cirque du Soleil, he was always elected as captain or placed in a position of leadership.

His personal childhood challenges (English foster care system) fueled his desire to live an adult life of meaning that impacted others in a positive way. Though performing in Cirque du Soleil provided a platform to touch and influence the masses, he sought a more profound contribution to give to the world: TO INSPIRE AND EMPOWER!
